Sparkle Report: Week of March 20

Good Afternoon Sparklers,

For those of you on Spring Break, hope you are enjoying. For those ready for Spring to be sprung, hope you’re having a great week!

Love and Learning,

To Do … It’s Time The Kids Learn Some Kitchen Skills

I’ve never enjoyed making school lunches. I bet many of you are nodding your head in agreement.  So when my kids hit middle school I decided I was going to give that responsibility back to them. I’ve always been a fan of the proverb “Give a woman a fish and you feed her for a day; teach a woman to fish and you feed her for a lifetime.”

To Buy … Stackable Bracelets and Brands That Care

Have you noticed that tweens and teens love bracelets? And the more the better. Well how about discussing with your girl that she can have her bracelets (and Shoes; Toms and Glasses; Warber Parker and Handbags; Feed) and make a difference too!  One of my favorite brands that I discovered when traveling, Pura Vida, is doing just that.

To Learn … Who Protects The Elephants?

Who doesn’t love the cute and cuddly elephant? Well, China just recently has begun to take great strides in helping protect the species and if you’ve got an animal lover at home it might be an interesting conversation to have.

To Think About … What If There Were An App For That?

What kind of app would you create if you could? Something to help your productivity, remember things or perhaps something to provide mindless fun?
